Will it help my child sleep in their pack 'n play? The science behind SnoozeShade is all about encouraging deep, restful sleep. Our unique fabric creates a comfortingly dark space – even with lights on in the room – which boosts melatonin (the sleep hormone) and helps children drift off. Our distraction-blurring mesh prevents them from latching on to visual stimuli that can cause them to wake between sleep cycles. What are the windows for? SnoozeShade pack 'n play canopy has two single-layer mesh windows with adjustable blackout flaps that allow you to tailor light levels to suit your child. Cover both windows entirely for maximum darkness, or roll up one or both outer flaps and secure them with the baby-safe snaps.
What’s the top panel for? When fully open, the top panel creates a large opening for lifting your child in and out. The two-way zip can be closed completely for sleeping and partially opened when you want to check in on your sleeping beauty without letting in too much light. If you want to leave the top panel open, simply tuck it into the integrated pocket.

How does it attach to my pack ‘n play? Simply throw it over your playard, pull down over the frame and secure the stretchy straps around the feet or wheels, overlapping the Velcro pads (you can double wrap if needed) to form a secure loop. You’re done!

We used the snooze shade over our Maxi Cosi Swift Playard. It fit great over top and was secure, letting very little light in. We had a fan on in the room as the snooze shade does limit the air flow, but our son woke up a great temperature and had a great nap. We received great customer support as well. Highly recommend the snooze shade.

Our pack n play shade was a game changer for us! Previously we had to have all the lights off or hangout in the bathroom once our little guy went to sleep. This allowed us to have the lights on when he went to bed or was napping and blocked out all light!

Overall, this has been a very practical and useful purchase for travel. I would not go anywhere without it as it allows us to move about a shared room and turn lights on with no issues. My only complaint is that for the money, the construction could be better. The zippers on the top slide right out if you're not careful and are very tedious to fish back onto the tracks. For the price, it could have been made a little more robust. That being said, I would still purchase again.
